The 245th Edition Infiorata 2023

The most spectacular flower show in Italy returns to Genzano di Roma June 10/11/12 with a program full of events.  Don’t miss it!

The most spectacular flower festival in Italy returns to Genzano di Roma: The 245th edition of the Traditional Infiorata 2023 " Io Sono L'Altro" I am the other is on June 10/11/12  with a program full of events.  Don’t miss it!

The excitement starts on Friday evening with the “Spelluccamento”, or the  removal and separation of petals,  along with the Maestri outlining their “quadri” panels on the street.

Saturday the installation of pedals begins. By Sunday morning the flower panels are complete and the “Corpus Domini” procession occurs in the evening.

On Monday evening, the final historic processions occurs before the town’s children gleefully dismantle it all during the “spallamento”, the running down and through the floral street.

This year the calendar of events also includes a fashion show, tours of the town,  exhibitions and local  wine tasting.

After you see the most impressive floral carpet in Italy, come visit us in the main piazza on Saturday and Sunday evening; we are part of “I Vini dell’Infiorata” (The Wines of the Infiorata),  two evenings dedicated to local wine.  A small fee gains you a glass to taste all local wines present.  Be sure to visit the Jacobini Wine stand!!! My husband and I will be there representing our local Jacobini Wine.
